Dr. Dirksen specializes in the management of malignant and benign breast disease.
He is a Hidden Scar certified breast surgeon. He performs numerous types of breast procedures including:
- Nipple-sparing mastectomies
- Oncoplastic breast surgery
Dr. Dirksen is the surgical director of the Edith Sanford Breast Center and is actively involved in the Edith Sanford Breast Specialty Clinic. He also serves as clinical assistant professor of surgery at the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine.
