Genetic Counseling and Cancer Prevention
Larissa provides genetic counseling and support to individuals or families affected with cancer.
She uses personal medical and family history to assess personal cancer risk. That assessment leads to discussion about cancer screening, cancer risk reduction and genetic testing.
Larissa is the director for the Edith Sanford Athena Breast Health program, which aims to provide breast cancer risk assessment to individuals at the time of their screening mammogram.
